SUNDAY
MEETING IN VENICE (ITALY)

We start our adventure by driving through Italy, Slovenia, and the Northern part of Croatia until we reach the hotel where we will stay for the first part of the tour.

(We stay at the Boutique winery hotel-Inland Croatia the first 3 night).

Arrival at the Winery Boutique Hotel early afternoon.

Welcome toast at the terrace, overlooking the vineyards.

After the welcome reception, free time to get settled in, rest, unpack, explore the hotel, and get ready for dinner.

Before dinner we will walk into town and visit two local wineries and cheer to a fantastic week ahead.

MONDAY
ROVINJ CITY, BREWERY VISIT & SCENIC DINNER

Breakfast at the hotel. We leave the hotel right after.

Scenic drive to the picturesque town of Rovinj, a small romantic fishing port.

City tour time, coffee, shopping, and wine.

After Rovinj’s city tour we drive back North, Inland Croatia.

Lunch at a local restaurant hidden amongst olive trees.

It’s beer O’clock after lunch. Beer tasting at a local brewery.

Return to the hotel late afternoon, time to rest, enjoy the spa, or have a drink before dinner.

Dinner at a local restaurant at the top of Motovun village, the pearl of inland Croatia where our Boutique hotel is situated.

Return to the hotel after dinner.

TUESDAY
TRUFFLE HUNT & VISIT OF WINERIES

Breakfast at the hotel.

We leave the hotel right after breakfast and go on a truffle hunt at a local forest.

Guided, with trained dogs. Let’s find some gold in the soil!

Return to the hotel after the truffle hunt.

Free time to freshen up and get ready for winery day.

Lunch at the hotel terrace with winetasting and cellar tour.

After lunch, we will go for a scenic drive and visit another small local winery and two Croatian giants.

Dinner at a family restaurant out in the countryside.

Return to the hotel after dinner.

WEDNESDAY
COASTAL TOWN, GIN AND BRANDY DISTILLERY

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today we are saying goodbye to the charming and picturesque Inland Croatia and relocating to the spectacular Coastline.

We leave right after breakfast and drive to the smallest town in the world! Hum.

Museum, brandy shop and town tour.

Lunch at the smallest town in the world at a hidden tavern with local delicacies.

After lunch, it’s Gin and Brandy time.

Guided tour of a local Gin and brandy distillery in a town nearby.

After the distillery visit, we drive to our seaside escape.

Late afternoon arrival to our resort, time to get settled in and rest before dinner.

THURSDAY
RELAX DAY AT THE RESORT

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today is the day we rejuvenate and indulge in the incredible resort.

Morning and early afternoon are reserved for swimming, mini golf, spa treatments, and massages (One massage treatment is included).

Quick lunch break, served at the outside terrace overlooking the sea.

The afternoon escape starts at 5 PM.

Short drive to the top of the mountain where we will have drinks and get the feel of the new area.

After happy hour drinks we will visit the town Opatija, the so-called ‘’Queen of the Adriatic’’ and, ‘’Monte Carlo’’ of Croatia.

Relaxing 20-minute walk along the sea.

Drinks and dinner at the fishing village, Volosko.

Return to the Hotel.

FRIDAY
BOAT DAY, LOCAL FARM AND RESCUE CENTER

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today is boat day. We leave shortly after breakfast.

Boat pick-up is at the hotel’s dock. Scenic cruise along the North Adriatic coast with wine tasting on the boat.

Island gateway. We will stop at the island of Cres one of the last remaining habitats of the griffon vulture and visit the Rescue center for this spectacular type of eagle.

After the rescue center, we will have homemade lunch at the local farm.

We cruise back to our resort with a short swim stop after lunch.

Free time to rest, pack and get ready for our final dinner of the Undiscovered Croatia tour.

Traditional dinner and drinks in town.

Return to the hotel.

SATURDAY
FAREWELL

Breakfast at the hotel.

We depart for Venice right after breakfast with one last adventure along the way.

Prosecco stop at the top of the Nature Park from which, on a clear day you will be able to see all the incredible places we visited during our week, even Venice.

Return to Venice by 2:30 PM.

During our Undiscovered Croatia Tour week, we will be pampered at two hotels.

For the first 3 nights, our Croatian home will be a family Heritage boutique wine hotel in the heart of the Istrian peninsula. Our 16-suite resort overlooking the endless blue Kvarner bay sea is a place where we will explore the beauty of the riviera and the surrounding islands while discovering where the famous composers Puccini, Mahler, Lehár, and Kálmán found their inspiration.
